Even my dreams are dull
There are bad dreams and there are dull dreams. My dream started off plainly enough; I went into my local shop to buy a milkshake. I couldn’t find a bottle of Chocolate flavoured Frijj milkshake anywhere so I did the only rational thing and decided to ask a member of staff. At this point, a man walked into the shop and put on a suit. This was the general manager, late for work. The member of staff tasked with solving my milkshake mystery whispered into the managers ear, and then, with clipboard in hand, the manager visited every shelf, marking off items that weren’t milkshakes.
I waited in front of the till for about an hour (in real-time) when I heard a man crying and screaming that he’d been in there for over 48 hours (he was ‘played’ by the guy who played Milly’s boss in ‘This Life‘). I started to panic, especially when I noticed that the shop had closed about half an hour ago. My nightmare ended when the manager calmy informed me that he couldn’t find any milkshakes, and offered me a jar of coffee as an alternative.
Can anyone think of a duller nightmare than that?

Surely you must have had a dream about random crap like staplers or magnets?

I just had a REALLY weird dream. I was preparing the bowls of food for one hundred chimps at feeding time and I let them in ten by ten (bit religious). Then I filled up their water ‘bucket’ at the end of the monkeyhouse which was basically a massive chimp costume with a cut out at the front so they could get to the water. And it was hanging up on the wall. Then I couldn’t turn the tap off and all this water was pouring out the front of the costume and it looked really freaky. I backed off staring at it, and then a blizzard started. I couldn’t get back to the big house from where I had come. Then I woke up.
I’m serious.

I love the randomness of dreams. They’re even better when they involve animals and extreme weather conditions. Well done to your subconcious thoughts.

I actually dream that I’m asleep! In my recuring dream nothing happens for about 6 hours, it’s just dark, then my alarm goes off and it’s time to get up and I wonder “What the hell was that crazy shit about?”.

Really, none at all? Not even one about falling, or being chased by someone?
