I managed to have a shower yesterday in 2m 23.4secs. The shower involved a full hair wash and proper cleansing of all the important areas. Can anyone beat that? The good news is that, YES YOU CAN! I know this because I was hampered by a ‘shampoo-in-eye’ incident as well as a ‘slippery-soap’ mini-drama that cost me vital seconds. Also, I nearly fell.

Clearly you need to set up some sort of Shower Olympics for My Boring Life readers, as I can vouch for 2m 23.4s being outrageously fast. Myself – I have to SIT DOWN to shower as we don’t have a stand up one. Unbelieve-a-bloody-ble.
There might need to be different categories for different types of shower. There are fairly stringent rules (such as time doesn’t start until both feet are on the flooer (or in your case, buttocks). Maybe the only way to prove my record would be to video it, but then that would be a completely different website altogether…
